Raphael didn’t usually wander to far from her territory, but she just had to get away. She need time to think about things, many different things. The world was quiet around her and she could sense any other wolves around, which in the end could be a good thing. She didn’t need any unexpected things to happen to her today. She didn’t need any loner wolves coming to her and looking for a fight now like last time. She didn’t have her mate to help her. He was the fighter she was the gentle kind, always seeing the best in everything, wolf. Which was her best trait but was also her down fall. she sometimes could be just to trusting in strangers. It got her into trouble a lot of the time.
Wandering around she felt as though a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. There was nothing out here that would threaten her or tell her that she wasn’t welcome and that was what she needed right now, just a little bit of peace and harmony. The breeze picked up and her magnificent nose picked up the smell of approaching rain and she smiled. She was glad of this fact as they needed the rain and it would be a nice change from all the dry weather they were having. She slowly walked amongst the trees her large paws crunching all the dried leave on the forest floor. It was just so nice out here, it was the relaxing atmosphere that she needed and she was enjoying every minute of it.
After a few moments the scent of another wolf entered her nose and she wondered where the strange wolf might be? It could be ahead of her a little way or it could behind her, or even still the wolf could be watching her right now from a hiding place in the trees. She didn’t let herself get too worried about it as it could be something completely harmless. This wolf might not even know she was there yet, but she knew it wouldn’t be long until her scent would be picked up if that was the case. Oh well she would deal with it later, if a problem was to arise. She continued walking at a normal rate, just enjoying her surroundings.

The young femme woke up bright and early, like she had been doing the past few weeks. She stretched her small frame and sniffed the air. She was still full from last nights rabbit, so she wasn't sniffing around for something to eat, but for two other things. She wanted to find water for a nice morning drink and maybe sniff the trail of her brother out. She felt like she needed to see him, needed to make some sort of contact with her family. Her parents were long gone, somewhere in some different land, and her living sister wasn't really someone she wanted to talk to anymore, and Cain was the only one she had gotten along with before.
She ran into his scent a few days ago, followed it into this pine forest but the pine smell was so strong it covered up the familiar scent. Now she felt like she was left wandering aimlessly for her brother. She had heard about the stories and horrible things he committed. But she couldn't help wanting to see him. Perhaps she could change him, she thought. Make a bit more of an acceptable wolf. Somehow Ava doubted that. He was a wolf that was so far gone into the darkness there was no getting out. Nonetheless, she wanted to see how he was doing.
Ava weaved in and out of trees, her nostrils low to the ground smelling out some water that was a just up ahead. She stopped when she was standing in front of a puddle. She bent low and licked up some cool liquid in her mouth and then raised her head again. She picked up on a wolfy scent. Her white ears perked up and her paws started moving before she decided if it was her brothers or not.
Soon the femme stopped, her head held high in a prideful manner, her ears perked up, and her golden eyes staring straight into another females. Clearly it wasn't her brother, but she had so abruptly shown up, she was sure she might have stepped over some sort of bound of decency. Normally wolves slowly introduce themselves by waiting to reveal their features. But Ava just came right out of the bushes, hoping that her brother would be on the other side.
OOC: Sorry it took be a bit to write back.

The pine forest was such a beautiful place, a bit smelly but beautiful. It was hard to even catch your own scent over the smell on pine, let alone another wolves. It wasn’t sure a good thing you know not being able to smell another wolf around over the lingering smell that was already there. You wouldn’t be able to smell if anyone was creeping up on you. With that thought she grew more cautious about being here, perhaps she should go back, she wasn’t used to the smell here, but for wolves that had lived her or spent a long period of time here would have been able to ignore it. Raff stopped where she was and sat down looking around herself to see if there was anything moving. There wasn’t and she felt a little better.
It didn’t last long as her ears hear incoming paws touching down on the earth in a running fashion, they were coming right for her but she was in too much shock to move, oh my there was something coming from the other side of those bushes and it was going to jump out and attacker her before she could even turn tail and run. Raff wasn’t a fighter and she didn’t really like confrontation. So she would surely loose if this wolf wanted a show down. Even though she wasn’t a fighter she was going to stand her ground and do her best to talk her way out of a fight. After all she wasn’t doing anything bad, she was just going for a walk, what was the harm in that, right? She just hoped this other wolf that had just bounded out in front of her was nice.
She remained still and alert as the femme stopped a little ways in front of her. She had never seen this wolf before nor had she even taking in her scent. Now that she was a little closer to her she could actually take in her scent of that of the pine. Raff looked her over for a moment and she didn’t seem all that threatening, she wasn’t showing any signs of hostility. Perhaps the other femme was just looking for someone else and couldn’t tell if it was whom she was looking for or not. Actually she kind of looked just as surprised as raff was. She then realised that she had introduced herself yet, that was very rude of her and it wasn’t very Drappa of her.“Hello, my name is Raphael” she said bowing her head respectfully., “I’m obviously not the one you were expecting to see?” she said and relaxed a little bit.

At first it was hard to tell what was going to take place between the two female wolves. Ava had met many lupa's that were so intent on protecting themselves they forgot how to be civil to other wolves, and then she had almost met ones that were a little too friendly. Ava almost preferred those that were a little too hostile than the overly friendly. They tend to stick close for too long and try to make buddies out of you, even if you clearly stated you weren't interested and found them rather annoying. The two stood quite for a bit, Ava looking over the other female, trying to decipher what stance she should take and the other female was clearly trying to do the same. After a minute or two it seemed like they weren't intending on hurting one another and the other found the gumption to speak.
“Hello, my name is Raphael. I’m obviously not the one you were expecting to see?”
Ava dipped her head back to the female, respecting Raphael as she had respected her. "My name is Ava," she said after she had lifted her head up to look at the lupa straight on," And no. Not really. The one I am looking for is... well male for one."
"You may have heard of him, nothing good though," Ava muttered the last bit, but she decided while she had the other lupa in her sights now, why not try to see if she had seen her brother or knows his whereabouts. "His name is Cain. Many females tend to fear the name and try to stay far away from him. But he is my brother, and though he has done terrible things, I still wish to see him. You know of him?"
Ava's gold eyes stared straight into Raphael's, something no underling would do with a Drappa, but this was Ava. Ava saw herself just as high as any pack member or leader and never really learned about ranks. She knew by the other faes scent that she belonged to someone or a some pack, and the way she introduced herself was very formal. Formality tended to run in the higher ranks of pack hood. The runts were a bit more... loose when they met strangers.
