For now, the world is at peace. The three packs are stable, for the most part, leaving each other alone with their grief. Snouts are risen to the moon, praying for help from the gods.
The times are set post-war, after the magical Vangri had rushed the Anva and Tornak packs. All three groups have suffered damaging losses to their numbers. With the survivors came an armistice--a call to cease the war. Now, the dead are buried, the wounded have been cared for, the past a vivid memory. And the future is feared, because the Vangri still want what's theirs.
Everyone wants their children back.
