Ah, now this was more like it. Inochitori's small feet crunched into the snow, causing him to sink into it until the powder reached his chest. It was like home. He loved the cold, the ice and snow and blizzards, all of that. He was familiar with the dangers that snow-capped mountains possessed. This seemed like a likely home. His fun with the two lupas he met in the pine forest had ended and he had since found himself a large hare. He had rewarded himself with the successful hunt by rolling in what blood and spilled across the ground, he loved doing it. It was one of the few times he liked being filthy dirty. It gave him red streaks in his coat which was only part of the reason he did such a silly action. He liked being coated in gore, he was taken for a more serious threat then.
There was another reason he had hunted, he was hungry yeah, but there was more to it. Inochitori had heard whispers here and there of a pack in the mountains, he hadn't heard much more, but he had decided to try it out. The mountains were a whole lot better sounding to him than a forest. Or worse yet, a desert. He shuddered at the though, shaking the limp hare hanging from his jaws in doing so. First impressions were always made better when there was an offering at hand, right? With a blood stained, sticky coat, his first impression with this Dragga -or was it a Drappa?- would be very interesting indeed, whichever gender it was.
It might have been a little hard for others to detect a scent barrier in the cold with rabbit hair tickling your nose, but he had been born into the cold and was familiar with ways to pick up scents. As a small pup in the arctic, you counted on that. Yet, even with his training, Tori had stepped a foot over the border before he caught the scent. Hey, when you're carrying a steaming meal in your mouth, your mind is kind of preoccupied. He immediately fixed his mistake, ears falling back in apology even though no one was around. Whoops. He didn't want to be caught having done that and make that his first impression so wisely, he chose to move a few yards down, minding the border all the way until he was far from the place he had accidentally crossed. Hey, what the leader didn't know, would only help him, right?
The snow wasn't as deep here and so he was able to stand with snow only half-way up his legs. He wasn't the tallest breed of wolf around, so it helped. Tori set down his gift, instantly tainting the snow with the sanguine mess, pink tongue washed over his muzzle to clean off the delicious treat he found there. Well, might as go and do and wolves should and howl, right? Tori sat, making an indent in the snow and threw back his head to let out a melodic song. His howls were beautiful creations and he took great pride in them. They were very different from the way he spoke, they were eloquent masterpieces and not careless, informal things like his speech. Now to meet that Dragga or Drappa or whatever.

A chill wind blew across the mountains of Vilgar. Lifting the powdery snow that had fallen only the night before. Seems like the elements had taken a brief break from tearing at the Blizzard Moon Pack, leaving a moment of bliss across the mountainside. Like being stuck in the eye of a hurricane, the second half of the storm was sure to come around soon. Though for now, the brilliant light of the sun would shine down on the snow topped landscape and radiate its deadly beauty. The sky was painted with a mixture of oranges, yellows, violets and blues as dawn came into being. Vilgar on a clear day, was really unbelievably breathtaking. Its surreal beauty almost seemed to be painted by a wandering artist on canvas.
A slender black shape lay in the snow. It lay on its belly, ridges of snow forming up its ebony sides from where it had settled around her frame. She lifted her head, small blocks of snow tumbling from her snout as she free'd herself from her icy grave. With thick fur such as hers, she didn't need to take shelter in a cave for the storm. Her fur prevented her from getting soaked to the skin and the snow ontop of her was like a warm blanket, insulating the heat she gave off. The storm had lasted all night and while she had slept withing the shelter of the snow, she was now unpleasently awoken by the bright rays of sun stinging at her crimson orbs. By nature, she was a creature of the night, daytime wasn't when she was in her element. Like a vampire she would keep to the shadows in fear that the light would burn her. Nevertheless, she needed to patrol the borders and drive away (kill) any who tresspassed. She rose to her paws, the snow around and on top of her fell away as she came to her full height. She shook the last few lumps of ice and snow from her onyx pelt and glanced around. Scenting the air.
Blood. The sickly sweet scent wafted into the femmes nose. The irresistable aroma of a fresh kill was almost too good to pass up on. Though with the smell of blood also came the scent of an outsider. Tresspasser? Or a lone wolf wanting to join? She couldn't be certain as of yet. Either way, they may be killed unless they were worthy of joining Blizzard Moon. They had better be ready because now the drappa of Blizzard Moon was heading their way. She moved with suprising speed and grace despite her lanky appearance. Using the snow to aid her, back paws slotting neatly in place of where the fronts paws had trodden earlier, lessening the drag that the snow would put on her if she just forced her way through without thought.
The scent of blood drew nearer as she caught sight of him at the same time as she heard a melodic howl. The bloodstained snow around him, mixed with the beautiful howl gave him a bittersweet appeal. It was quite macabre that such a nice sound could come from one covered in blood. (Obviously a good killer). The drappa skidded down a small drop and leapt forward, landing with ease in the snow infront of the male. Her crimson eyes searched him, their insane appearance seemed to stare right through him. She pulled her lips back a little as she spoke. "What is your business in Vilgar, wolf?.." Her ears flattened back a little but she stood strong. Though she could not keep back the saliva that was forming and dripping from between her canines. The smell of blood was too much to stop herself. no matter, she awaited his answer.

One thing about Inochitori Namida was that he knew his place, first and foremost. While he had played a nice game with dominance with the lupa before, he knew better than to do something like that now. His muzzle fell with his voice, ending his call as amber eyes set on the distance features of a mostly black wolf. She was like a silhouette before him, standing on a slight hill above him and Tori smiled, dropping his body language. His tail fell from the dominant position it usually maintained, his head fell and he politely averted his eyes, though his confidence was not lost. She was a pretty thing, one that probably struck fear in many hearts, especially those eyes. They pierced through him in an eerie way that should have brought down his confidence but it only succeeded in making him more attracted to her.
It was too bad she was the Drappa, for that was obvious simply by appearance and the way she held herself, the way she approached. He would have liked to try his luck with her but to do that with a Drappa meant becoming Dragga first, usually anyway. And that idea made Tori laugh, or at least would have if he wasn't in such a serious situation. Inochitori was not made out to be a Dragga and he didn't desire the position at all. He allowed her to speak first, he found it to be more polite, and she asked what business he had here. Oh, that was an easy one, he let a small, cheesy grin light his face. "Ah, my beautiful lady," he began very polite and even a bit formal, too bad things never continued like that with him. "I suppose I came to see you. Heard about a pack up here, thought I'd check it out, bring a present, join maybe."
Inochitori bent his head to pick up the hare once again and tossed it to her, aiming for right in front of her and delighting in the fact that it made its mark. He didn't want to cross the border to give a present, there were certain things he knew he should just not do. "From what I've seen so far, it looks like a place I could call home. Nice company, too." Amber eyes looked around, his demeanor completely calm. Yeah, he figured this Drappa could rip him to shreds, he really had no doubt in that, but that didn't mean she was going to. Those were two completely different things in Inochitori's world and he figured things were going pretty well so far. His attention came back onto the ebony lupa and he still held that submissive yet confident demeanor. "Ah, but that's completely up to you, huh?" He gave another grin before suddenly remembering the basics of any introduction. "Oh, right, you probably want my name. Inochitori Namida. So... You have my name and my business, you know what I want so you have the upper hand here," He flicked his tail in a feline manner, an almost seductive manner. "What is it that you want me to do to prove my worth? Surely, there's something I can do for you, my Black Beauty." Was this how other wolves asked to join? Did this Drappa even give her wannabes some sort of test before joining? He wasn't sure how it worked here but he figured expecting more was better than assuming less.

She looked the male over as he did her, taking in his slender ebony and ivory markings. Mainly white but with a twist of coal here and there. He was tall with small but probably sure-footed paws. His eyes were a mesmerising intense golden colour rimmed with black. She watched as his tail dropped and he averted his own gaze from her briefly as she approached. The way he looked at her somewhat brought a grin to her face, she didn't know why.
His polite reply started with 'Ah, my beautiful lady.' Flattery would get him nowhere but she had to admit he was already quite funny, though she maintainted her composture without grinning again. Suddenly he seemed so casual as he answered her question. 'Join maybe', so that was what he wanted, acceptance into the pack. She watched as he threw the hare in her direction, her eyes drunk in the sight of the blood hungrily as it splashed onto the snow infront of her. She looked back to the wolf, reaslising she still didn't know his name.
Now he was rambling on about how Vilgar seemed like a good home. Still, Teekah couldn't help feel that behind his easygoing persona that there was something dark about him, almost like the good-guy appearance was just one half to the story. She was distracted from her thoughts when he introduced himself. 'Inochitori Namida' the name circled through her mind as she made to reply, suddenly remembering she hadn't introduced herself either. Nevertheless, Inochitori was very interesting and she wouldn't make him prove himself to her before he could join. All the members could prove themselves when they took place in the hunt later on."My name is Teekah Kranis. You do not need to prove yourself today Inochitori, you are welcome in Vilgar. The only problem is your rank. You have great potential in Blizzard Moon and could achieve high places."
Teekahs eyes calmed a little and she sat her hind in the snow, being more casual now. "However, the beta and curator ranks are already taken yet you are more worthy than auxilary." She looked him over again before deciding on rank. "Therefore would you take the role of a Venatoro as you would make an ideal hunter." Teekah suddenly felt a pang in her chest, this wolf's easygoing personality and smiles somehow reminded her of her old life and family and how she caved a new family of her own. Though obviously she would never tell anyone this unless it was someone extremely close to her (not literally) since it was so unlike her. A psychopath such as herself craving the love and attention she had never gotten as a youngster, it was almost unheard of that one such as herself had feelings. Teekah realised that her memories were haunting her once more and she had started to lose face in the situation. Snapping back to reality she turned her eyes back to Inochitori. "Do you accept?"

He got her to smile. Such an intense figure actually managing a smile was a success he didn't take lightly. He wasn't sure what exactly it was that had done it which was too bad because he would have liked to use that same thing to make it happen again later. The smile faded quickly and Inochitori was sad to see it go. It had been a real grin and those were always good when trying to join a pack like he was. He noted the way she dealt with his gift, the hunger in her eyes, not from an empty stomach, and how she ignored it. She was strong, physically and mentally, which was good in a Drappa, especially one that had to deal with him. She was smart, too, because as dark as her heart seemed, she didn't push him away at first glance. She didn't know this was a test for her, too, did she?
He could see himself fitting in with her. Teekah was clever enough to get all his strange little quirks and he would have no problem with her ordering him around, he figured. She explained that he would only need to prove himself later and to his surprise, rank was being considered already. She must have a good judge of character then! Especially since she saw potential in him, maybe Drappa wouldn't with how he made entrance, many hadn't. His air of informality seemed to rub off on her as she sat and continued pondering his rank, one higher than auxilary. "You think so?" Beta and Curator were taken by others and they were apparently ones she was considering for him. Instinctively, he wanted to say yuck, but it intrigued him. He had never had a rank like that. That'd be kind of fun, maybe. It didn't matter though, those were taken.
"Venatoro..." He echoed. "I like the sound of that." He grinned, an expression that was more twisted than his previous, apparently good-natured ones from before. Venatoro was a good rank for him. He loved hunting. Inochitori let his eyes wander beyond the pretty Drappa as he considered his rank. He was young and had traveled far before considering settling down so it wasn't surprising that he had never been given such a rank. It was an honorable rank with power that he could boss the little people around with. That could provide some amusement. Teekah seemed to have done the same and gone off into a mental wonderland because she came out of it and asked another question, pulling him out of his in doing so. "Accept? Yeah, of course."
Inochitori stood, whipping his tail around his hips in that same cat-like motion that he was known for, as he finally stepped over that border. This would be home now, eh? It was a pretty one. The wind picked up, lifting the dark, silky-looking locks of fur along his back. He gave a charming smile as he stepped beside her, giving her personal space because he didn't like to invade it. "So, tell me, my Black Beauty... Will I only be hunting nutritional items as Venatoro? Or will there be fun things to hunt?" The grin that followed was the darkest one yet, implying what he meant by 'hunting'. Usually the term he used was 'dancing' when he preyed on other wolves, but she'd get what he meant. He was sure of it.
Who were the other members of the pack? It would be interesting to meet all the different personalities and get to know Teekah better. He wouldn't bother to ask her about it, it was more fun to discover it himself.

Teekahs eyes lit slightly as he accepted the rank. Blizzard Moon was swelling and growing in number by the day, more and more dangerous wolves gathering to thrive in their dark ways, all with blood and sin on their minds. The pack needed more wolves such as this one. Soon the Validus Animus Pack would feel sorry for confronting Teekah Kranis.
Teekah felt herself grin a little again as he came up beside her. There was just something about him that was interesting and amusing to her. His question to her almost made her laugh. "Oh no, the Venatoro don't just hunt prey. You hunt all sorts of things." His dark smile made her shudder slightly. "You're in for a good time hunting around here." Teekah cackled a little, her ears falling back slightly. Her tail curled and uncurled behind her before she lifted it slightly and let it wave behind her like a flag as a gust of wind shook the mountain.
Yes. The Venatoro and Venatora in Blizzard Moon weren't just needed to hunt for the packs food. Sometimes their skills were needed for darker matters when outsiders have been straying too close too the borders and needed silencing if they found out too much about Blizzard Moon. Teekah wanted to keep the packs movements as secret as possible from rivals, it gave them a suprise advantage if she chose to lead an attack. But if wanderers came too close and found out information about the pack, then there was the danger that they could spread it around. Those wolves, needed to be disposed of. And that was the secret jobs of the Venatoro and Venatora.
Teekah picked up the hare in her jaws for a moment before dropping it. She licked some blood from her deadly canines before speaking again since a little blood had spurted out from the hare from the force of her jaws on it. "Happy Hunting.." She said, waving her tail from side to side in the air.
