The woods of Lasonia. To any outsider may seem like a dark, scary place. But to one who has lived in the shadows it will be filled with a hidden beauty. Around every corner there was something new and beautiful. At least that was what this femme thought. Rælyn Kranis: sister to Teekah Kranis of the Blizzard Moon Pack. While Teekah was the darker and evil side to the two siblings, Rælyn liven in the light. The bloodthirsty Teekah was the only wolf she knew of that she could truly hate. After a dark past with her evil sister, Rælyn was planning to get even one day.
Rælyn was a tall wolf like her sister, though Teekah had a slight height advantage. Rælyn also possessed the same ebony pelt with white markings. Though rather than a white dorsal stripe, she had alternnate white markings on either side of her body. On her left side she had a white ear and hind leg. The right side had a white patch on her eye and a white forepaw. The only other marking she had was a fully white tail. Despite a similar appearance to Teekah, Rælyn was better built and her fur was sleek and shiny, her muzzle fine and her ears very very delicate and prettily shaped. The two wolves were like the two sides to Dorian Gray; whereas Rælyn was the beautiful version full of life, Teekah was the twisted, crumbling painting that was lifeless. Their differences would never be patched up.
Her bi-coloured silver and gold orbs flickered between the trees, picking up the smallest details of her surroundings. her tail swished from side to side calmly. She was sure that this was the border line as she could smell the scent markings, any further in ans she would be tresspassing. Just as well, she wanted to join Validus animus. Since among the scent of the pack, she had picked up the faint scent of her sister that she had been tracking. This pack obviously would have driven her away and therefore would probably become Teekahs enemy now that she heard her sister was a drappa too now. She figured that she could be useful to the pack since she was blood related to Teekah. Rælyn also knew Teekahs fear of her, so that alone could be useful.
Rælyn lifted her onyx muzzle to the air and let out a melodic howl, calling forth the alpha. She only hoped that they would listen to her reasoning and not drive her away because of her blood relations. She really wanted to help this pack out, only if they would let her...

Azzuen sat on his hillside, where he watched the stars dance above him every night. It was the only hill that showed him his entire landscape before his onyx eyes. He loved his land and would fight any battle and any war to keep it his. Having to fight many times to stay Dragga will do that to you. He had a deep passion for this melidous landscape unlike any other wolf could have. Even his mate Raphael didn’t have this strong of a passion for it. He scanned from the east to the west, the north to the south. He couldn’t see anything. But soon enough his ears perked and his body raised to a howl escaping from the trees in the distance. It was a female. And judging by her chords she was seeking acceptance, and was alone.
He lifted his tail up and trotted to the bottom of the hill. Once he got to the bottom, he brokie out in to a Lasionian run. The wolves of Lasonia were known for their ability to go very fast. All with long legs and agile bodies. Azzuen wasn’t much of a bulk like most Draggas would be, he stayed fit but didn’t need the normal size necessary. Wind rushed like a quick creek through his pelt as he travelled to where he heard the howl. His eyes spotted a silhouette in the distance and quickly howled to let her know of his presense. His running ceased and his trot continued.
Emerging from the brush he exposed his entire bodice to this wolf. He looked at her features in a way a Dragga does, nothing more. She reminded him of someone, someone that triggered a growl. Without realizing he lowered his ears and growled a deep growl. Quickly, he stopped himself and straightened up. He made up for it with a slight bow, “Forgive me. I am Azzuen Vilkas, Dragga of Validus Animus.” He stopped moving and kept his tail up, looking at her intently. Teekah. “Do you happen to know of Teekah Kranis?” He said the name with a fury that wasn’t directed toward her. It was instinct. [/blockquote]

As she waited for the dragga to arrive she glanced around her at her surroundings. Her eyes locked onto a single flower completely surrounded by weeds. It stood alone, a diamond in the rough. She padded over to it, bringing her muzzle down to smell its sweet aroma. Completely entranced by the scent, she stuck her nose in further. Taking another sniff, pollen covered her nose, making her let out a small sneeze. She looked around herself, a little dazed from the sudden reflex, she sat back on her haunches.
An answering howl rose to the sky, and the scent of another approaching overwhelmed the sweet smell of the flower. She spotted him coming through the trees but didn't pick out any details until he showed himself fully. She was immediately 'greeted' with a growl, his ears pinned back. It was inevitable that she would get that response since she was a blood sister to Teekah. At least now she was definately sure that this wolf and Teekah were on bad terms. Despite the growl she remained calm and composed.
She was a little suprised at his bow and apology but she lowered her ears in respect and understanding. She returned the gesture but looked at him with a more intent gaze when he spoke of Teekah. "Yes. I am ashamed to say that 'she' was my sister. I don't think of her as a sibling, nor a wolf now. That's why i hunt her down..." She paused for a brief moment, deep in thought. She had learned that if she wants anothers trust, you have to be completely honest. Anything he asked, she would tell. After all, she wanted acceptance into the pack so that she could help them. "My name is Rælyn Kranis..."

He watched very carefully the way she walked, and the way she looked at things. It was very different than the way Teekah looked at things. Raelyn saw respect for the trees and the creatures of his land. That was a very good thing to have if you are planning to join Validus Animus. They may not respect it as much as Fenrir Luna did, for they felt that the pack was more important. Fenrir didn’t. He raised his head above hers as she spoke. She seemed to respect him, he would believe that. But the hardest thing he was trying to do was not to relate her to Teekah. That would be rude on his part to assume that she was as evil.
Hunting her down? He could understand that. Teekah was the only wolf that was truly a threat to this land. Luckily their borders didn’t touch. And with the number of wolves in his pack increasing, he had an advantage. But there was no doubt that hers were too. His ears were perked, his tail level with his body. He didn’t need to hold it up, this wolf knew he was leader. “I don’t count her as a wolf either, I’m not trying to offend you, lupa. But it is nice to meet you Raelyn.”
He wouldn’t be able to ignore the fact that they were sisters, because that might mean she has some evil in her too. But he wouldn’t hold that against her. He walked up to her slowly. “So, Raelyn. Do you seek acceptance into Validus Animus?” He pondered for a moment as to what rank he would give her. She seemed like a lupa that would be a good wolf to watch the borders and take wolves back for acceptance. Also, she respected him. She would be a good beta.[/blockquote]

Rælyn nodded in agreement at Azzuens coomment on Teekah. "I do not blame you for being wary of me, facing one related to such a monster is hard to do so without comparing the two." She paused, pawing at the earth a little. "So no offense taken." She stood ground as he walked up to her, not showing dominance though not being submissive either. She was a strong wolf who didn't roll over for anyone and had a mind of her own, yet she wasn't one to confront others for no reason. 'So, Rælyn. Do you seek acceptance into Validus Animus?' She nodded as she answered. "Yes, if you will take me."
For so long she had gone without a pack, the last pack had been her families own and they had been killed off by Teekah. Finally now Rælyn would be able to move on, her goal to stop Teekah and avenge her parents deaths was almost within grasp. That was, if she was accepted into the pack. It would feel so good to run and hunt with others once again, to serve and be rewarded with just the fact that there are others beside you. That was all she longed for.
Rælyn stoof firm as she awaited Azzuens reply. Would she be accepted into the pack? Or would her ties to Teekah force them to drive her away like so many had done before. Rælyn only hoped that finally there would be a pack to overlook this flaw.

He noticed quickly that she was standing her ground when he approached her. This was a very critical trait when you become a beta of a pack. But also, she showed respect. Another critical trait. "I do not blame you for being wary of me, facing one related to such a monster is hard to do so without comparing the two." Indeed, it really was. Teekah had been the only threat that didn’t scurry away from his fighting. And the only that had truly harmed him in the fight. He had had a few scratches and scars from others. But from her, broken ribs. Healing fine, he had to suck it up. Although when it came to losing fights, Azzuen was very immature. The next time she stepped foot on his territory, he would be forced to kill her.
He blinked, stopping his mind from trailing any further into those thoughts. With his pack getting bigger, he would not need to worry. Yes, if you will take me. He smirked a little. “It would be a little foolish of me to not accept you. We still do not have a beta for the pack. Would you like to fill that position, lupa?”
He raised his head a little at the thought of his pack getting even larger. He was very proud that two other wolves wanted to be a part of his family. But then he began to worry, this part in his eyes was untraceable. In this pack, the beta had the job to bring the new wolves of the territory to the Dragga and Drappa. This was very useful to them both because they didn’t have to put themselves in harm’s way. It was the beta’s job to test and pry the newcomer to see if they are worthy of seeking acceptance. This job would work perfectly for this wolf. She was agile and muscular. A prime lupa for the job of Beta. He brought himself to overlook the fact that Teekah’s blood was in her. She had too much potential.[/blockquote]

Rælyn found her smiling a little when he offered her the beta position. Mainly because it was a pleasant surprise to be offered such a high rank. She had aimed high but expected nothing more than auxilary. "I accept, since it would also be foolish of me to turn such a position down." Her smile told him that he could trust her and she would not let him down, she swore her life down on it. She'd be damned if she was going to let this pack down. From now on she would hold her position with pride.
