The sun sleeked up into the sky and Ava got up from her tree and stretched her body out. It was day two in her pack hood adventure and she wasn't sure what to think of it just yet. She wasn't a member of Skaar's pack but yet he was protecting her, at least while she was in heat and if she liked it she would be granted a spot in his family. Though she wasn't sure if she was really into the whole thing just yet. There seemed to be no alone time. Always with someone, which was fun for Ava for the first day but then she started to miss the times she had to herself where she could just breathe. If she could somehow balance that out, she'd like it better. The one thing she did like was that no one went hungry. With more wolves around catching prey was easy and there was always something to eat. So that was a bonus.
Light snow was falling onto the ground as Ava made her way to the half frozen creek to get a drink. She lapped up a few drinks and stretched her snowy white body once more. Her golden eyes turned to look at her newly acquired friends and then towards the boarder line. Perhaps if she just left for a little bit, walked around and got a chance to herself she'd feel better. She'd come back, it wasn't like since she was in heat she couldn't do anything. She leapt over the creek and then into the forest.
The seasonal female kept her ears perked and eyes open so she could hear any frisky or rambunctious males. The reason she was confined to the pack lands was because of one that had attacked her in hopes to have his way with her. She let out a slight growl of annoyance at the memory. If Skaar hadn't butted in she would have been fine.
The snow drifted down heavier and the trees slowly turned into pine trees as she kept on walking. She sniffed the air, enjoying the perfume of the trees and the soft mix of snow. This was one of her favorite seasons. She matched the color of the snow, so it was easy for her to hide herself and everything looked so pretty. But this season it was different. Her heated scents were so strong it could reveal her in any hidden spot and of course it attracted unwanted males. She also left trackable trails where ever she went. Something even more annoying.
