The moon was high, gleaming over the world like a gem in the night sky as Skaar made his way up to the land north of the stream where the pack made it's home. Nesteled amoung the tree's and near the river bank, the cold winds from the north where blocked by the tree's making this part of his domain much warmer. Bones from previous hunts were either piled in a natural ditch or well buried as a small store for the dlightfully crunchy marrow. Advised by the ever wise Akailia Skaar and his pack had dragged several old dead tree's to form a little circle with the tree line which acted as the space where the pack lived life together.
The remains of a meal lay on the forest floor as Skaar led the latest of his pack, Ava to the den. " This is where we stay. It is warmer here and we are safe. The water is from melting snow in the mountains to the north and food is easy to come across. Eat your fill but remember always the balance." His single eye swept across the den. He disliked his pack being too far afield at night just in case. Tilting his head back Skaar howled, an eerie, haunting sound that resounded throughouth is domain. A call for his wolves to return home.

Akailia had been walking along the creek tonight. She batted as the fish tried to nip at her paws. They made her laugh, both her and the fish knew that this was just a game. No one was trying to hurt one another. Everyone was one. It had always amazed her how everyone and everything were one in her forest, and she would always have a very strong belief of that. She was very thankful that her mate believed that too, even though at first sight he wouldn’t seem to be.
Lately her stomach had been getting bigger and bigger. She was moderately confused as to why. But as she bent down she felt a pounding in her stomach. Tilting her head she leaned over to lick her rubs. It stopped. She knew it. That would explain everything. She jumped around in the water celebrating, the fish were celebrating too by jumping out of the water. Her tail swished water all over her. She was stopped in her tracks, ears perked, as she heard the howl of her mate. Quickly she howled back a harmonious howl for him and the pack to hear. It sounded as if he brought someone new to their lands.
She lapped up some water and went to the shore to shake herself off. Her pace quickened to a very fast run through her trees. She knew these trees and bushes like the bottom of her paw, so it was very easy to get through them quickly. Soon she arrived to their den area. Hers was located under a sequoia tree, she loved it. Exposing herself in the open she nuzzled Skaar and stood beside him. She would wait for the rest of the pack to tell him the news. It was impossible to stop her tail from wagging.

Ava followed Skaar into the den area. Her eyes scanning and memorizing every last detail and her nose taking in all the scents. She had to at least try to familiarize herself with her new surroundings so she didn't have to constantly look back at Skaar for directions. She memorized the way things were set and the rethought of the path they took so she could recall it later. Skaar mentioned how this was where everyone ate and slept. It was warm and safe, a feeling Ava could pick up on her own without Skaar having to point it out. Then he talked about eating her fill but keeping the balance, she kept her mouth shut from saying 'I know I told you' and simply just nodded.
When a black fae came out from some shrubbery and brushed herself against Skaar Ava picked up the idea that they were mates. It more finalized when her golden eyes rested on the blacks swelling stomach. So that was why he wasn't into the idea with mating as much as the other brute, he had his own family and mate that was pregnant all ready. It made sense, you only want as many pups as you can feed, so can't impregnate too many. Ava averted her head away from the pair and took the time to check out her surroundings a bit more. Her eyes looked along the trees and the shrubbery and ears were perked up for more pack members that may be in.
OOC: o.O sorry it's so short. Im running a bit low on muse.

Ki-Ai followed her new family. She couldn't believe that she was finally part of a pack. She never really was part of a pack. Her family was just kind of on their own back and Ki-ai lived with them. She has been a loner for so long that it felt good to have company around. She explored the cave that they entered. Sniffing all the unfamiliar scents. She wasn't really talking to anybody. Just observing her new packmates. It would porbably take a while for Ki-ai to come out of her shell. She was shy around others. But that didn't worry her as much.

(Sorry for the late post guys, havne't been in the best of health recently.)
The howl came back to him with an awnsering call and Skaar allowed himself a breif moment of satisfaction. His pack was small now, but it was growing. Soon his pack would be large, their pups many. With such a large and beautiful land to feed and shelter them his pack would grow like a flower in spring and last in an eternal summer. Not only would he be alpha of this pack, but one day he would walk beyond the boarders of hislands and travel to every pack in the land. With his indomitable strength he would bring about a better world, one day all pack's would call him alpha. He would eliminate such silly things as territory and boarders and unite every wolf under the same pack where hthey would learn the balance. Was this not better? If every wolf-pack understood and obeyed the balance? Of course some would never bow to a wolf from another pack and there would be death's, but the creator made him strong for a reason. To bring about an age of endless beauty where all wolves lived in a single pack, their territory the entire land from corner to corner.
Skaar's tail began to wag as Akailia emerged and brushed against him. Nuzzling her payfully he allowed his tongue to slip out as his breath's became pants before he forced himself to regain composure. In silence they waited, Skaar's gaze grim once more as he watched the treeline for the last of his little pack. Ki emerged soon after, quietly slinking to the side. She was new both to this pack and the pack way of life and the quietest of them. Lowering his head in greeting he padded the little clearing, glancing back to Ava as he spoke. " This is Av, She will be pack for a small time untill she leaves us. Untill then, you are Auxiliary. These are your pack-mates, Akailia and Ki-Ai." Somthing in Akailia's gaze caught Skaar's attention and he tilted his large head questioningly.

OOC: I hope you get better soon, Skaar
Akailia didn’t hesitate to watch the others of her pack come into the den area. She loved the dens. They were covered by the largest trees and wisest trees of Anaria. They have been said to change different hues in the nighttime. Being keepers of the balance, it was inevitable that your woods would be the most radiant. Nighttime was the prime time for wolves, so according to Halasia, they would be awarded with beauty. And as wolves walked among these colorful trees, the colors would transfer to the wolves. No one but the wolves of Anaria have seen this. It was definitely a sight worth seeing. Wolves of all of the colors of the rainbow. The colors would radiate from all of their pelts, normal or not. The leaders had the brightest colors so the rest were able to see them easier. Akailia was honored and Skaar always seemed to enjoy it.
Night was opening its curtain as the meeting began. Young rays of the moon squeezed through the thick branches of the trees, caressing each and every wolf with thanks. These new wolves would be confused, thinking they were hallucinating these colors. Although, they were only barely seen at the moment. Akailia’s large neon yellow eyes watched them closely, she would never speak much to newcomers. Only to Skaar. Her eyes and her environment spoke for her. She was said to speak through the trees. All wolves of Halasia have heard of this, and that’s why most hesitated to become a part of the whole of Fenrir. Her eyes smiled sweetly at these new wolves as her head raised. Skaar was followed by a female, then Ki-Ai came from her own path. Akailia bowed individually to Ki-Ai and the female.
It always amazed her how she so easily opened Skaar up. She watched lovingly as his tail wagged and he completely relaxed, then she laughed as he brought back his composure. He introduced this wolf as Ava. A pretty name, suiting the lupa. “I’m lucky to meet you, Ava. Welcome to Fenrir Luna. I hope you enjoy yourself here. I’m sure you will.”
She looked to Ki-Ai, “It’s always nice to see you Ki-Ai.” She looked to Skaar as he tilted his head vigorously. She quickly looked away and leaped up to a high rock, so she could see them all at once and sat down. She looked up to the moon and back to her pack and her mate. Her tail wagged. Her eyes portrayed the arrival of very exciting news. The colors of the night were beginning to bloom …[/blockquote]

Ki-ai stood as Skaar introduced the new wolf, Ava. She new what it was like for Ava, being new and all. Ki-ai padded over to Ava and stood beside Akailia. She nodded and said Hello. She turned to Akailia, "I'm glad I could be apart of this pack". Ki-ai said joyfully as her tail wagged. It really did feel good to be apart of this pack, though it was small. She was eager to wait what the future brought. Ki-ai continued to look around the den. It was comforting and felt like home. It was located in a beautiful spot, Ki-ai thought. She looked out the den and admired the trees, how big and pretty they where.

Ava stood quietly letting everything sink in. The whole pack thing was nice, it was a nice idea to have other wolves that you could count on. Or at least to just have someone to talk to. But as much as it was nice, it was still annoyingly different to her. Her whole life she either had her own family to count on or herself. More her self than her family. She only lived with her parents till she was old enough to be on her own before they kicked her out. Now she was in a place where they didn't boot wolves from the nest. The pups stayed forever if they so chosen too. She wasn't sure how to act or be around them, even if they were being completely nice about the whole thing.
" This is Av, She will be pack for a small time untill she leaves us. Untill then, you are Auxiliary. These are your pack-mates, Akailia and Ki-Ai."
Ava nodded and bowed to the other wolves, slightly insecure about her manners. She knew she didn't know the full way to act around them just by how annoyed Skaar seemed at some of her comments or questions. She was just not as trusting as he would have wanted, at least that is what she was assuming.
“I’m lucky to meet you, Ava. Welcome to Fenrir Luna. I hope you enjoy yourself here. I’m sure you will.”
"Nice to meet you Akailia," Ava said, her voice soft and polite. She dipped her head to show her that she would be of no threat and turned her head to the other fae that had come close in greeting. She dipped her head to her as well and then looked amongst them all. "I am sure I will like it here, though, you may have to be patient, I haven't been apart of a pack before."

" Few of us have." Skaar added as Ava asked for patience. " But it is the natural state of a wolf to exist within a pack. You will pick things up as you go." Shaking his large head Skaar swept his gaze over the little pack, small growl of approval rising in his throat.
The night's show began and the tree's that had existed when the father of all wolves walked the world and would exist long after all wolves had returned home awoke, their waking breath's throwing colours around the clearing and over the pelts of his pack-mates. The balance had been kind and generous to them, upholding the balance had made their lands strong, it protected their fey's and pups from the harshest of winters and from predators who prowled the darker corner of the woods. They gave his wolves health and strength and unity and that was why the balance had to be shared with every pack, only through the balance of all things could they become stronger.
Akailia had purposefully dodged his question earlier and he felt a small tug of antipcation pull at him, what exactly was she hiding? " You have news." Skaar stated, nuzzling her lightly, a touch of humour crossing his stern features.
