"Anaria." The word rolled off the tongue nicely as the violet and burgundy lupa said it aloud. The slender, lean femme was strange to look at due to her odd colouring and markings. Her main pelt colour stood out against her surroundings, the sunlight reflecting its violet glow. The striped markings were a deep burgundy and stretched from her maw to the tip of her tail. In contrast to the purple tones of her fur, her eyes were a green gold in hue and had a glassy effect from the suns light. Altogether a bit of an odd-ball. But nevertheless she had her good assets despite her nature having a bit of a trickster appeal. She loved pranks, riddles, stories and she figured that sharing them made the world a much better place. An active, interesting and challenging world was a happy one.
This wolf was a mix, not knowing herself much about her heritage, who or what she was. Her homeland had probably long since rotted away by now and now she wanted a new home and a new pack to serve and possibly call family also. It was a lot to hope for but it was worth a try. She had heard of Fenrir Luna and their ways reminded of her old life and how her pack worked. This new pack seemed interesting and she was willing to serve them if they would have her. Despite her joker status, she was serious when need be and was definately a trump card in a deck. However she was only useful if in the hands of a skilled player who could use her to her potential.
She padded swiftly through a few trees ass she glanced about her. It was only when it was too late that she realised just how close to the border she was. A log crossed her pat and her paws buckled beneath her, sending her flying forward and splashing into the creek. She stood up, completely soaked from nose to tail, and glanced about dizzily. After a moment of regaining balance, she shook her colourful pelt and sent silvery droplets in all directions, glinting and shining until the suns rays. "Well, that was a good start..." She chuckled to herself a little and climber back up the bank, figuring she had just crossed the border when she fell. Her once neat fur was now stuck out randomly after shaking. She rose her muzzle towards the sun and howled, calling forth a dragga or drappa. Once the howl subsided she sat back on her haunches and started grooming herself a little in an attempt to smarten herself before a leader came.

Black paws enchanted the dirt beneath her feet. All of the trees and blades of grass respected the being that walked upon these paws, a being that respected the trees right back. The forest and the Balance was her life. She revolved everything and anything around it, especially the way her pack decided to live. She would never let one member disrespect the Balance, or they would not be a part of her family. They needed to know how to cherish the trees, the Elkryn and all of the beings that kept their souls in her and Skaar’s forest.
She had been running through the forest, making sure everything was ok when she heard a howl of someone at the border. But they sounded like they were past the border. She stopped in her tracks and took the time to tilt her head at this wolf, knowing that this would be an interesting encounter. Her black paws took her forward once again to the creek where she heard this wolf.
She saw this strange thing through the trees. Uncertain, for she had never seen anything purple in her woods unless it was nighttime. Nighttime in her woods set many different arrays of color upon the wolves that lived here, whether they were natural markings or not. She walked slowly through the trees to expose herself. Her bodice was the purest of blacks, contrasting the neon yellow orbs that were set upon this lupa. She smiled and raised her head up high, entertained that this wolf was playing in her creek. Normally she would mind, but she knew this wolf wasn’t a threat. Walking into the creek, she stopped. She felt the fish rub up against her paws, it felt a bit odd but Akailia was used to it.
“What is your purpose in Anaria, lupa?”

The lupa smiled and dipped her head in greeting as the drappa appeared at the creek. Her ebony frame showed dominance and the intensity of it showed power. Yellow orbs reflected knowledge and truth to the femme. This seemed like a good and trustworthy drappa worthy of respect, she certainly had an air of authority around her. Her voice was sweet and smooth as she spoke.
"What is your purpose in Anaria, lupa?"
She said. The violet lupa rose to her paws from her sitting position earlier after trying to neaten herself up. "My name is Kyouki Mayou, i wish to join Fenrir Luna." Kyouki's voice was more of a sweet yet spicy tone, filled with kindness yet with that hint of adventure and play also and a tangy flair to her accent that was built up and mixed over a year of travelling far and wide. "I offer your pack my loyalty, speed and endurance. For though i am not cut out to be a fighter, i am fleet of foot instead." Kyouki preffered the more honest approach and would tell them from the off that she was no warrior but rather a runner. Honesty was one of her best traits.

Akailia watched this wolf very carefully, but knew that this wolf was anything but a threat. She noted the fact that this wolf was very respectful toward her, and that was a very good way to start when trying to join a pack. The fish had stopped greeting Akailia, they made her laugh a little. Akailia’s eyes would speak for her when she looked at this lupa. Her colors were attractive, but strange. She must have received them as a gift of Halasia, so Akailia assumed she greatly deserved to be a part of Fenrir Luna. Halasia doesn’t give wolves such colors randomly, so she would respect what her Godess has given her.
Her neon orbs hadn’t left this violet lupa for one instant, watching the way she moved. She was trying to figure out which place in the pack would fit her best. She could run, and she respected the Balance. In Fenrir Luna, the Beta was the tester wolf for the wolves at the borders. If the wolves at the borders saw this violet wolf first, they would know what interesting things they were in for. Skaar would respect any decision she made. "I offer your pack my loyalty, speed and endurance. For though i am not cut out to be a fighter, i am fleet of foot instead." But if the wolves at the borders tried to fight her, she couldn’t fight back. She could always howl for backup, she supposed.
She kept her head up high and the wind began to blow. It blowed Kyouki’s scent toward Akailia, she smelled it and determined that she was worthy to be a part of Fenrir. “Fenrir Luna welcomes you then, lupa. Here we are the wolves of the Balance. With your colors, I assume you’ve respected it very well?”
She couldn’t help her head from tilting a little, this was a very important question to Akailia. Her orbs filled with curiosity and much interest, easily readable.[/blockquote]

Kyouki always knew that her lack of experience in battle and her featherweight frame would hold her back from high position, but it seemed that the drappa wasn't going to turn her away easily. Kyouki noticed the once over as the drappa looked at her strange pelt and eyes but didn't take any deep meaning from it.
"Fenrir Luna welcomes you then, lupa. Here we are the wolves of the Balance. With your colors, I assume you’ve respected it very well?”
Kyouki dipped her head again a little as she answered. "The world and its balance is greatly respected by me and should be respected by all. My birthpack lived and thrived from the balance, though they now cease to exist, many of us had strange colourations like my own." She paused, deep in thought. "Halasia moves in mysterious ways..." Her ears flickered back and forth as she listened to the sound of the water moving through the creek.

" Indeed it does." Skaar's voice rumbled as he padded with light footfalls from the clearing. The massive wolf kept his single good eye locked on the strangly coloured wolf his mate had accepted into their ranks. his scarred, stern visage was certianly intimidating but hthere was no meanace in his movements, hos ears were releaxed, tail wagging slightly.
" The balance looks after thos wolves that respect it. You were lost and now you are found, that is the way of the balance. Great pain comes before great joy." Sitting on his hunches beside his mate Skaar looked over the wolf's odd fur, noting the markings as gifts from the balance.
" I welcome you to our home, now your home. I am Skaar Skilgannon." Dipping his head momenterily he gave a rather formal greeting before nuzzling Akalia in silent apology for sneaking up on her.

Kyouki's ears flickered when a voice rumbled from behind the drappa. A brute, large and scarred but also poised with authority alike the drappa. His appearance didn't phase her, appearances could be decieving. She guessed him as the dragga. He spoke with such wise words and meaning that told her he could be trusted. The wagging of his tail also told her that she had nothing to worry about.
As he dipped his head a little she dipped hers, returning the gesture. She watched him briefly nuzzle the drappa and could tell that she was now part of a loving, caring pack. It was then she was confident that she had chosen the right pack. She spoke again with the same tone that she had used before, sweet and gentle but also lively and full of fire and energy. "Thankyou, it is good to have a home again. I am gratefull to you for accepting me." She let her tail flow behind her before curling it around her paws again.

Akailia would never be able to figure out why this wolf had these amazing colors, she began to wonder about what this wolf would look like under the nightlife of Halasia. Would she look like a normal-colored wolf? Or would she be even brighter? Akailia would find out soon, there was no way that she would turn away this wolf from having a place in her and Skaar’s pack. She obviously had a gift from Halasia, so Akailia would respect the fact that Halasia had given this wolf to her.
The next thing she knew, she heard the pawprints of her mate. She knew her mate so well that she knew the way his paws set themselves on the ground. Turning her body slightly toward him, her bright orbs locked on him. Her look would say everything, he would know. He nuzzled her after she listened to her words. She couldn’t fight her tail from wagging and a sweet smile from sliding across her mull. There was no way she could find a better wolf to be her mate.
She then remembered the extra weight that she carried, she hadn’t really been paying attention to it lately when she should have been. Halasia had given her the strength she needed to not even feel like the pups were there inside her. A great gift, indeed. She walked up to the new lupa and nuzzled her side playfully, “You will be given the rank as Beta. Your job will be to test the wolves of the border to make sure they’re worthy of having a rank, then bring them to us and we will approve or disapprove. Our trust is in you.”
She stepped back a little and tested the way this wolf would look at her.[/blockquote]
