A brighter font color?

Hello! A potential new member here with a bit of a problem.

First of all, let me just say that Wolves Corrupted is one of the first wolf rpgs that's caught my fancy in along time. It seems to have a perfect mix of everything and I'd love to join.

There's just one problem: I can't actually read anything written here. Your skin looks absolutely gorgeous, but the font is so tiny and dark that right now, as I'm sitting in front of my monitor in daylight (not direct sunlight, mind you), I can't discern the board descriptions unless I really, really focused. I have bad eyesight and must wear glasses, so I wouldn't want to overstrain my eyes like that.

I'm just wondering, if I am to join this lovely site, would it be too much to ask for the main text color to be lightened a bit? Or maybe you guys already have multiple different skins, some of which with more contrasting colors? Or if a few other people also agree that the text is too dark, but you don't want to change the main skin, maybe create a duplicate skin only with a brighter font?

This is the site's normal text in size 1. I have to squint real hard to just to see it. The only way to read this is if I actually drag and highlight it.

This is a new, brighter text color, which I can actually read now. The text is still pretty small, but it's a noticeable improvement. This color can of course be tweaked further.

I really hope a consensus is possible. The site itself is awesome. c:

I really do appreciate your advice, Ahillamon. I just haven't gotten to read it until now, I'm technically on vacation.lol. I will greatly consider this change, if other members agree that it needs to be lightened. If they don't, when I'm off of vacation I will make another skin of the same look, just with a lighter text. So regardless I will take care of it when I'm off of vacation, which is around Monday ^^

Thank you for your considerate reply! c: It's encouraging to know that the staff is so willing to address issues brought up by (potential) members. I am now even more looking forward to joining Wolves Corrupted, though it'll have to wait until my final exam on Monday, but as soon as that's over I will have free time to dedicate to this neat site.

UPDATE: I'm adding the new skin, but the links are still going to be the same color because if I change the coding colors it will be universal. It sounded like your only real problem was with reading the posts, so those will for sure look better. Hope this helps!

Again, thank you for your help. I can actually SEE now! *goes to read stuff* The link color doesn't bother me at all, it even helps distinguish it from plain text.

I will probably create a wolf as soon as I can think a good character idea. So many to choose from... XD Any suggestions or certain themes that better suit this particular site?

... Can I create a hallucinating wolf?

Well there’s a ton of different characters around here, so basically any type of new one is welcome. But sure! That’s totally fine to have an hallucinating wolf ^^.
