You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why not?'

+Getting to know the real you,
is just as important+
Woman you want me give me a sign
And catch my breathing even closer behind
Marian (aka Ahillamon)
In touch with the ground
I'm on the hunt I'm after you

Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Just outside the lands of Halasia, near the Pine Forest of Karvou.
Two dark colored wolves, doesn't know their current fate. Mother dead?
One; a dark gray-brown lupa. Current status unknown.
Argos' parents, the sole founders of the Thauron pack, were a roving pair of dark-pelted wolves with no fixed home; they inhabited the fringes of various pack-lands, keeping a low profile and migrating when they felt they'd overstayed their welcome. When the time of birth approached they stopped near a great labyrinthine pine forest, hoping to find shelter for their newborn pups. There, into a nervous and hushed atmosphere, were born two pups, a lupo and a lupa. The male was named Argos and he was the larger one at birth. His sister was small, but soon started making up for it with her feisty nature. Argos was calmer, though still naturally curious and playful as all pups are. He was also his mother's favorite, something his sister never forgave him for.
The Thauron pack, now a totaling four members, was doing well for once. They were being left alone, which meant a far easier job of rearing the pups. But fate had a cruel twist in store for Argos. On a foggy autumn evening his parents were out hunting elkryn in the forest. He and his sister were bored of waiting near the den, so his impatient sibling proposed they went to look for them. Naive in their youth, they ventured out, but soon got lost in the foggy, darkening forest. After a while, the ground started to rumble strangely, and suddenly a large herd of stampeding elkryn burst forth from the veil of mist, two adult wolves not far behind. His sister fled for cover, but Argos was petrified in horror and started to yelp pitifully. This caught the herd leader's attention, who, enraged from being hunted, focused his revenge on the small defenseless pup and aimed a powerful kick at it's direction. The wicked blow to the head would've been lethal, had Argos not ducked sideways on the very last moment. Miraculously, the kick only knocked him a few feet away, unconscious instead of dead.
He did not remember how his mother had ever-so-gently carried him back to the den, nor how she kept vigil by his side for the next three days until he woke up. He only remembered the pain, the constant, agonizing throb that threatened to break his skull in half; maybe it had already been broken. When he finally woke, nothing would ever be the same for him. He started being plagued by sounds and visions, both horrible and beautiful, frightening and comforting. His family was appalled to learn of his crippling affliction, yet they hoped he would eventually recover. Although the headaches lessened and all but disappeared, his hallucinations remained. At the same time a rift developed between the siblings when his sister began to hate him for the extra attention he was always given. She learned to manipulate with his emotions, which were directly tied to the strength of the visions.
A years later, when their small pack had moved to a new home and the two pups were nearing adulthood, another tragic event occurred. His sister had decided to rile him up again, so that their mother could see just how weak and useless he was to the pack. Something went wrong however, perhaps she had finally gone too far with her harassments, but suddenly Argos was filled with an unstoppable fury. His memory blanked out again, but when the red haze finally cleared from his mind, he saw his mother's whimpering body laid out in front of him and tasted metallic blood on his fangs. Had she tried to stop him from attacking his sister? He honestly didn't know. Argos just stood there in shock. He could feel his father's wrathful presence looming over him (or was it too just a vision?) and found no other option but to flee from the terrible scene. He never even looked back.
Two summers have passed since that fateful incident. Argos' life has been a loner's one, moving from one hunting ground to another, never stopping too long at any one location. His solitary lifestyle leaves him weak and often on the verge of starvation, but he refuses to complain. Most of the wolves he's met on his journeys could be divided into two categories: the majority has kept away or even shunned him upon discovering his special condition. A few pitied his cruel misfortune, but even they would not stay with him for long. Lately he has wandered close to his original home again and unknowingly entered the lands of Halasia. Will fortune finally smile upon him in these fertile lands? None knows but Lady Fate herself.
Stalked in the forest too close to hide
I'll be upon you by the moonlight side
++++ Well now listen up my little pretties! This application was made by Raphael Samedi. The inspiration came from all over the place; lyrics are from 'Hungry Like the Wolf' By Duran Duran. This I found very relevant to what is going on here at Wolves; Corrupted. And this just happens to be my first template attempt so be kind. Try not to change anything, like the font color, size and font style. All original colors must stay the same. Leave these credits on or I shall beat you around with a massive stick.
