I think it's a neat little forum game where everyone can learn something new about our fellow members. 
So, everyone tell us your country, city, village etc of origin, and post one interesting fact about that place you'd like to share. I'll start:
I'm from Estonia, which, in case you didn't know, is a tiny country in North-Eastern Europe, just south of Finland. During the collapse of the Soviet Union, we literally sang ourselves free from foreign occupation in spontaneous mass singing demonstrations, which brought together more than a quarter of all Estonians. It was called the Singing Revolution.

That's awesome!
I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. We are known for our chili! And I actually came to the realization recently that noodles underneath chili is only a Cincinnati thing, I thought that was strange.lol. Another Cincy thing is we say 'please?' instead of 'what did you say?'. I've fallen into that trap xD |
